Gary Smith (Mr. Meadowlily) was the former president of Friends of Meadowlily Woods Community Association, which has been actively involved in protecting and preserving the environmentally significant area known as Meadowlily Woods.
One of his many accomplishments was getting the Meadowlily Footbridge designated a Heritage Structure in 2013.
The hike is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, followed by a celebration of life for Gary.
Meet at the parking area on Meadowlily Road South by Meadowlily Bridge.
This is a free event and a great event to learn about this wonderful natural gem in London and pay tribute to an amazing man who was instrumental in keeping it this way.
Gary went on to the next step in his spiritual journey on October 26, 2024.
